Costumes for a Cause
This is a smart costume for a great cause. Julie created these costumes as part of a fundraiser and to increase awareness of mitochondrial disease. The costumes are a visual representation of what mitochondria look like. The colored part represents the outer oval membrane, the white part is the inner membrane, the gray is the matrix, and the black is the cristae. Julie made each of these costumes by hand with felt.
